Beth Yeshua Australia
What Will You Find Here?
Well, for starters, we’re back! We have resumed our regular Shabbat meetings at the Jewish Community Centre – but will still have an LIVESTREAM SHABBAT SERVICE to help those who are unable to attend in person with us to come together … virtually. And, if you would like to catch up on the most recent teachings, they can be viewed by going to YouTube channel linked HERE.
Beth Yeshua Australia’s Congregation was planted by, and is affiliated with, Beth Yeshua International in Macon Georgia. Together we share in the common identity as People of God.
Whether you are Jewish or Gentile, you will experience a good representation of modern Messianic Judaism. The beautiful Feasts will be observed, and Torah Truth will be taught from Genesis through Revelation.
You will experience heartfelt worship and fellowship. You will be welcomed with the love and kindness that only Abba can give through His talmidim (disciples). You will be loved unconditionally beyond measure, and without judgment.
Every tribe and nation is welcome. CBY Australia cares about the entire person—spirit, soul and body!
There is much we would like to share with you, so please join us as we seek the Lord together. Come as you are, knowing that our prayer for you is that you will never leave the same.
Did You Know?
That Monday is a Biblical Holiday?
Monday is Shavuot – “Weeks” (also known as Pentecost)
Pentecost means “fiftieth”, and is one of the three Shalosh Regalim (Pilgrimage Festivals).
Described in the Bible as celebrating both agricultural festivals and historical events in the history of God’s Chosen People, these three holidays were set aside in biblical times for people to travel to the ancient Temple in Jerusalem to. These three holidays are Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot.
According to the Torah , God commanded : “Three times a year shall all your men appear before the Lord your God in the place that God will choose [referring presumably to the Temple in Jerusalem], on the festivals of Pesah (Passover), Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks), and Sukkot (the Festival of Booths). They shall not appear empty handed. Each shall bring his own gift, appropriate to the blessing which the Lord your God has given you” (Deuteronomy 16:16
Leviticus Chapter 23 gives further insight into Shavuot, but if you want great in-depth teaching regarding this very special Holy Day, why not join us for Shabbat service on Saturday, 15 May @ 10:30 AM, and again on Monday, 17th of May @ 10:30 AM for fellowship, food, and “feast talk”?
Fellowship with like-minded people who love God and celebrate our common blessings rather than their differences. Genuine love and acceptance is spoken here.
The Autumn Feasts (which occur in the Aussie Spring) have come and gone. Summer is well and truly here! Before we know it we’ll be planning for Shavuot 2021. Feast Days and Holidays are very special times at Beth Yeshua. Would you like to know more?
We are involved in several local and international community initiatives. The weather is becoming more summer-ish by the day (but still cooler at night). Help Beth Yeshua provide sleeping mats, basic toiletries and nurishing food and drink for the homeless and the forgotten.
